For the second time in three weeks we have had to cancel an arranged fixture due to lack of players. What is the point of fixtures being arranged, and well known about in advance, then finding insufficient interest and support to fulfil the fixture? It is not good for the club's image, both internally and with our opponents. It is disappointing for those players who would be available and creates problems for the opposing sides who have to seek alternative arrangements. We need to ensure that where fixtures are listed players make themselves available.
