Match report The last match of the season was played at Longstowe, the nearest team to Mervyn's South Cambridgeshire home. Despite awful weather conditions a 35-overs game was played. Longstowe batted first and were all out off the last ball of their innings for 91. Arkley lost two early wickets but Jon (53*) and Ben (26*) saw them to a comfortable 8-wicket win. At the end of the game both sides adjourned to a local hostelry/Thai restaurant for celebratory drinks and sampling of Thai cuisine. This was Nick's last game in charge and many thanks to him for his contributuion as captain over the last four seasons.
